We do all of our own deliveries within about a 50 mile radius. Standard delivery includes delivery, assembly and final placement of the furniture in your home. Our standard delivery fee is 5% of the purchase price or a minimum charge of $45. If you choose to pick up your furniture from our store you may do so at no charge and we will do what we can to help you load it up.
Small dents and minor scratches are normal for hardwood and will occur over the lifetime of your furniture, perhaps including the time of shipping and delivery. Our goal is that you receive your furniture in perfect condition and we take responsibility for all damage that may occur while it is in our possession. At our discretion we may perform touch up or make repairs ourselves or send the furniture to our builders/finishers for the work. In some cases we may seek to negotiate a discounted price for an item with minor imperfection.
Damage done to the furniture after delivery is the responsibility of the customer. We will do what we can to help you with minor repairs, touch up, etc. for free or a nominal charge depending on the issue. On rare occasions we may send items back to the builder for repair. Shipping and repair charges will apply in these cases. Plain and Simple is not responsible for and generally will not make repairs on furniture not originating from our store.
