The European elitism in this video was a bit much for me to stomach.  However I appreciated the comment about the fact that while it is beyond the power of architects or architecture to build community, that they can nevertheless create environments that are more or less conducive to it.  This is certainly true, and committed communities must always either find or design places to live that will make a life together possible.
